Biography

Dr. Sridhar Gummaraju is a consultant anaesthetist at the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital in Oswestry and an elected consultant council member of the Royal College of Anaesthetists since 2020. He chairs the Events and CPD committee and contributes to multiple boards, including Education Training and Examinations, Membership and Media Development, Investment, and Diversity, Equality and Inclusivity.

With a medical degree from Mysore University and extensive experience in the Indian Army Medical Corps, including high-altitude service and combat exposure, he transitioned to the NHS in 2001, obtaining his CCT in 2010 and serving as a FRCA examiner since 2016. He has also been a College Tutor from 2012 to 2019 in the Stoke on Trent School of Anaesthesia.
